Our Trip’s Focus
Our desire is to see God at work with people in Uganda. We will partner with Scripture Union by going into schools and sharing God’s love with elementary students. Scripture Union has been leading Bible clubs in schools for over 25 years. We will also be ministering alongside Pastor David.

About Pastor David
Pastor David has been leading the Kitgum Pentacostal Church for several years. He and his family have persevered through many difficult years of ministering to people devastated by the rebel group called The Lord’s Resistence Army (LRA). In spite of the years of people being displaced from their homes, children being abducted, and widespread bloodshed, God has sustained this church and planted several others under Pastor David’s leadership.

WCC’s desire is to come alongside Pastor David to provide encouragement and support. Other ministry projects include restoring people back to a more typical way of living. This includes educating them on farming and the use of oxen and ploughs to produce excess food to feed multiple famlies.
Through WCC’s support we have equipped two sets of oxen to be used by widows in these areas. We have also helped to build a church and equip it with a sound system. Please keep David and his family in your prayers as they strive to remain faithful to God’s calling in a very difficult ministry setting.
